BarCamp Hong Kong 2011 - The biggest unconference in town is back!

The biggest unconference in town is back again! Last year @BarCampHK had 70 sessions and over 700 participants. @BarCampHK found a new printer to make us some nice tees this year. @BarCampHK also decided to not include sponsor logos on them, which means @BarCampHK will be selling them (at cost). It's only $80 if you pre-order now or $100 on the day.
App Planet 2011 (Mobile Asia Congress) Free Pass
Nov 16-17 (Wed/Thu) HKCEC, Wan Chai.

Mobile Asia Congress is being held 16-17 November by GSM Assocation. Free pass for Android/MeeGo/others app developers and all our readers enables the access to all sessions of the App Planet 2011 (Original price  at USD499) would be available, including the session conducted by Rovio, the creator of Angry Birds. Limited number of free pass are provided by GSMA via Computancy in first-come first serve baised.

Python.hk takeover code jam

It's about time Hong Kong Python User Group aka HKPUG take over the python.hk domain and put something decent on it. We'll build a Wiki/Blog from scratch in Python. This is a chance for beginners to have some fun coding a large project and for old timers to show off their mad Python skills.
